Nigerian carrier Air Peace has marked a significant milestone in its expansion journey, operating a nonstop flight from Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis.
The Boeing 777 aircraft touched down on June 12, 2025, after a 10-hour flight, carrying delegations from Nigeria for a Pan-African business conference in the Eastern Caribbean.
This achievement underscores Air Peace’s growing trajectory and strategic foray into the global market.
The St. Kitts & Nevis flight is the airline’s third foray into the Caribbean in five years, following successful operations to Jamaica in 2020 and Antigua & Barbuda in 2023.
With this feat, Air Peace has established direct access to three key Caribbean territories.
The flight was operated, using one of Air Peace’s Boeing 777 aircraft, which also sustains the airline’s daily Lagos-London Gatwick schedule launched in March 2024.
Chairman and CEO, Dr. Allen Onyema, has hinted at more long-haul aircraft on the way, with plans to serve Houston and New York.
The Abuja-St. Kitts flight is a testament to Air Peace’s bid to transform from a regional champion into a global contender.
With its steady expansion, the airline is living up to its theme: “Nigeria to the world – no stops, no limits.”
This achievement further solidifies Air Peace’s position as a leading Nigerian carrier, connecting Africa to the world.
