GTA strengthens partnerships for Accra Weizor 2025

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has taken a significant step towards promoting Ghana’s tourism industry by strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.

The Deputy CEO of Marketing and Special Duties, Mr. Abeiku Aggrey, recently held a strategic meeting with Mr. Ikechi Uko, Chairman of Akwaaba Travel Expo and organiser of Accra Weizor.

The meeting aimed to solidify the GTA’s collaboration with Akwaaba Travel Expo ahead of Accra Weizor 2025, a West African Travel Show.

This event is expected to showcase Ghana’s rich tourism offerings to a West African audience, empowering tour operators to promote the country effectively.

By hosting Accra Weizor 2025, Ghana aims to attract more tourists and investors to the country, thereby boosting the tourism sector and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.

The event will provide a platform for stakeholders in the tourism industry to network, share ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

The GTA’s efforts to strengthen partnerships and promote Ghana’s tourism industry are timely, given the country’s potential to become a major tourist destination in West Africa. With its rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and friendly people, Ghana has a lot to offer tourists.

The Accra Weizor 2025 event is expected to play a significant role in showcasing these attractions to a wider audience.
