Over 300 Participants Set to Attend 5th Dronetecx Conference

The fifth edition of the Drone Technology Conference and Exhibition (Dronetecx 2025) is just around the corner, with over 300 participants already showing interest in attending the event scheduled for May 13-15, 2025.

The conference, which will be held at the NIGAV Expo Event Centre, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, promises to be a gathering of highly placed individuals from the office of the National Security Adviser, the Air Force, industry players, and end-users.

According to the coordinator, Mr. Fortune Idu, all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth outing.

Exhibition stands are currently being constructed, and the event is expected to draw participants from both civilian and military personnel.

The conference, according to the organizers, will examine the future of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Nigeria, identifying the potential of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) transformative power for enterprise development under a robust regulatory framework.

Supported by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Dronetecx 2025 aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss the future of UAS in Nigeria.

Last year’s event introduced two awards to support efforts to open up the industry to youths and maximize the opportunities created by drone technology.

With the growing interest in drone technology, Dronetecx 2025 is expected to be a major milestone in the development of the industry in Nigeria.
