NAHCO secures five fresh deals with airlines

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has announced the signing of a string of handling contracts with five different carriers, further solidifying its position as a leading provider of ground handling services in Nigeria.

The new contracts, which cover passenger and cargo operations, demonstrate the company’s ability to attract and retain clients in the competitive aviation industry.

One of the contracts is with Royal Air Maroc, which has signed a five-year agreement with NAHCO for cargo freighter and cargo warehousing services in Lagos and Abuja.

This contract builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, which will now be extended to cover a broader range of services.

NAHCO has also renewed its contract with Kenya Airways for a period of five years, covering passenger and cargo operations in Nigeria.

The company also signed a new contract with Dornier Aviation, which will provide passenger flight handling services for a period of three years at various airports in Nigeria, including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Osubi.

New entrant Enugu Air has again chosen NAHCO to handle its operations in all locations in Nigeria, citing the company’s over 46 years of handling experience.

The contract covers passenger flight operations for a period of five years and is a testament to NAHCO’s reputation for providing high-quality ground handling services.

In addition, NAHCO has renewed its contract with Cronos Airline for a duration of three years, covering passenger flight operations in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

These new contracts demonstrate a trend of international and domestic carriers preferring NAHCO to handle their ground operations.

NAHCO’s Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, expressed delight with the new contracts, stating that they are beneficial to both NAHCO and the airlines.

The Group Managing Director, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, described the development as a sign of greater things to come for NAHCO, assuring clients and stakeholders of the company’s focus on daily and consistent improvements in all aspects of its operations.

Olumekun says: “these new contracts are expected to further enhance NAHCO’s position in the aviation industry, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing high-quality ground handling services to its clients.

” With our extensive experience and expertise, NAHCO is well-positioned to continue delivering excellent services to the aviation industry in Nigeria and beyond.”
