Kuku
The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku, has made a groundbreaking move to enhance aviation safety by sending her agency’s firefighters to the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria for training on the Multipurpose Aircraft Fire Simulator.
This simulator, procured by the former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, had remained dormant for years until Kuku’s intervention.
Under Kuku’s leadership, FAAN has prioritised staff training, recognising its importance in boosting productivity.
Her pragmatic and transformational leadership style has yielded significant successes, including this initiative.
The training is a testament to Kuku’s commitment to excellence and her vision for a safer, more efficient aviation industry in Nigeria
As the first female MD of FAAN, Kuku’s appointment has been a milestone in breaking gender barriers in the aviation sector.
Her dedication to innovation and efficiency has set new standards in airport management and operations.
This latest achievement underscores her ability to drive transformative growth and promote the goals of the aviation sector, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for a renewed and prosperous Nigeria.
