Made in Nigeria helicopters to debut soon

Nigeria is on the verge of a major breakthrough in aviation technology as the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) announced that the first Made-in-Nigeria helicopter is nearing completion and will soon take to the skies.

According to Kareem Aduagba, Project Manager of NASENI’s Aeronautics and Air Vehicle Development Institute in Kaduna, the agency is putting finishing touches on the indigenous helicopter.

This achievement is a testament to Nigeria’s growing expertise in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The Made-in-Nigeria helicopter project is part of NASENI’s efforts to promote local manufacturing, innovation, and the adoption of homegrown products.

The agency has been working with inventors, manufacturers, government officials, industry leaders, and innovators to drive Nigeria’s industrial and technological growth.

With this achievement, Nigeria is poised to join the ranks of countries with advanced aviation capabilities.

The successful completion of the Made-in-Nigeria helicopter project will not only boost national pride but also create job opportunities, stimulate economic growth, and enhance Nigeria’s global competitiveness
